Job summary

GE Aerospace Malaysia is offering a Production Intern - Cell Improvement - Flow Support in Subang Jaya. The role focuses on lean manufacturing fundamentals including 5S, flow optimization, and kaizen events, gaining hands-on exposure to shop-floor operations.

The ideal candidate is an undergraduate pursuing a degree in Engineering or related fields and can commit to a 12–24 week internship, supporting 5S, process improvement, and visual management with the Cell Leader and operators.

Qualifications

• Pursuing diploma or degree in Building, Facility Management, Aerospace Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechatronics.
• Minimum 12–24 weeks internship commitment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Support 5S audits and maintain workplace organization within the cell.
• Observe and document current-state processes and identify bottlenecks.
• Assist in kaizen events and track improvement actions.
• Help manage equipment, tools, and visual management boards.
• Collaborate with operators and technicians to understand day-to-day challenges.
