Job summary

Hartalega is seeking a fresh graduate for an Industrial Engineering/Lean role in Malaysia. You will support time studies, speed modelling, data collection, process documentation, and develop standard work to improve output performance.

In this entry-level position, you will apply 5S, visual management, Kaizen and Lean fundamentals while using Excel (Pivot, VLOOKUP, charts), PowerPoint and basic AutoCAD to complete tasks on time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Fresh graduate or up to 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Entry-level exposure to Industrial Engineering and Lean Manufacturing concepts, including process documentation and basic technical practices.
• Basic knowledge of IE principles, Lean fundamentals, and analytical methods.
• Familiarity with Excel (Pivot, VLOOKUP, charts), PowerPoint, and basic AutoCAD functions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct basic time studies and speed modelling under supervision using Lean concepts.
• Collect operational data and document process information for standard work development.
• Perform 5S audits and execute basic workplace improvement activities.
• Use Excel (Pivot, VLOOKUP, charts, formulas), PowerPoint, and basic AutoCAD tools to complete assigned tasks.
• Collaborate with team members and follow operational guidance to deliver tasks on time.
• Execute additional tasks or project activities assigned by the Superior or Management.
