Job summary

Mehow Medical (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Production Process Engineer in Penang to analyze and improve manufacturing processes. You will draw production layouts in AutoCAD and implement lean practices to boost efficiency and reduce waste.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
Minimum 2 years' experience in related field; fresh graduates welcome.
Proficient in AutoCAD for layout drawing.
Experience with lean manufacturing and plant layout/capacity planning.
Fluent in Mandarin, English and Malay.

Responsibilities

Analyze and evaluate existing manufacturing processes and identify areas for production efficiency improvement.
Recommend methods to improve worker efficiency and reduce waste of materials and utilities, e.g., restructure duties and workflows.
Carry out Work Study for each workstation to establish standard working hours and capacity.
In charge of production layout; able to draw using AutoCAD.
Ensure processes, equipment and products comply with safety standards and regulations.
Establish theoretical cycle times; perform time study and continuous improvement based on lean concepts.
Coordinate with internal engineering and suppliers to define and review project specifications (M&E equipment, infrastructure).
