Salutary Avenue Manufacturing Services in Masai, Johor, Malaysia, is seeking a hands-on Production Engineer to plan, coordinate and monitor daily production activities, while providing technical support to troubleshoot issues and improve processes for better efficiency and quality.

The ideal candidate holds a degree in mechanical/manufacturing/industrial engineering with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, plus the ability to read engineering drawings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and production operations.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Able to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; CAD/SolidWorks knowledge is an advantage.
• Good communication, teamwork and leadership skills.
• Good public speaking and presentation skills.
• Proactive, responsible and willing to work hands-on in a manufacturing environment.
• Willing to work in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and monitor daily production activities to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Provide technical support and troubleshoot production, process and equipment issues.
• Improve production processes, productivity, cycle time and overall efficiency.
• Monitor production quality and ensure compliance with SOP, safety and quality standards.
• Identify root causes of production problems and implement effective corrective actions.
• Work closely with Production, Engineering, QC, Purchasing and other departments.
• Prepare and maintain production reports, work instructions and technical documentation.
• Support continuous improvement, 5S, Kaizen and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Assist in production planning, capacity improvement and machine/equipment optimisation.
• Provide technical guidance and support to production operators and team members.
