Job summary

Keysight in Kuala Lumpur seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to optimize test solutions for wireless products, including 5G and future 6G NPI. You will work with cross-functional teams and CM partners to qualify test stations and drive automation and digitalization initiatives.

You will lead test equipment modernization, implement data-driven improvements, and mentor junior engineers while delivering manufacturing excellence across product lifecycles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or related field.
• 4–6 years of experience in Manufacturing Test & Software Engineering.
• Experience with NPI, product transfer, and test system validation.
• Strong knowledge of RF testing and automated test systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing test activities for NPI or product transfer, ensuring test readiness and qualification.
• Architect and drive digitalization initiatives by integrating manufacturing data, automation, analytics, and systems to enhance productivity.
• Lead test equipment modernization, platform upgrades and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with R&D/NPI, Product Engineering, Quality, IT, and CM partners to ensure successful execution of NPI, product transfer, and sustaining engineering activities.
• Drive root cause analysis, corrective actions, and preventive actions to improve test station performance, yield and efficiency.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, validation reports, engineering specifications, work instructions, and project status updates.
• Mentor junior engineers and interns by providing technical guidance and best practices in manufacturing test engineering and digitalization solutions.
• Support department or site-wide initiatives focused on operational excellence and manufacturing innovation.
