Job summary

TDCX is seeking a founding Lead Technical Specialist to shape the AI readiness platform and drive product growth for an AI-native SaaS business.

You will own AI readiness audits, schema implementations (JSON-LD/Schema.org), and deployment methodologies, collaborating with partners and the General Manager to scale globally and set technical standards for a new product category.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Shopify Plus and/or Magento.
• Deep understanding of JSON-LD, Schema.org, and structured data.
• Familiarity with Google Merchant Centre and product feeds.
• Ability to maintain quality at high audit volumes.

Lead Technical Specialist - AI Solutions

Build the technology powering how businesses are discovered and trusted by AI.

We're building an AI-native SaaS platform that helps businesses become accurately understood, recommended, and trusted by Large Language Models (LLMs) such as ChatGPT and other AI assistants.

Launching in the second half of 2026, our platform enables businesses to identify and fix AI discoverability issues through automated audits, structured data optimisation, and AI readiness monitoring. We're looking for our first Lead Technical Specialist to help build the technology that powers our growth.

What is your mission?

As our founding Lead Technical Specialist, you'll become the technical backbone of our customer delivery and product growth engine.

Build AI Readiness Solutions

• Perform AI readiness audits across a variety of key customer websites, including Shopify Plus and Magento websites to identify structured data, crawlability, and AI discoverability issues.
• Implement and validate structured data (JSON-LD/Schema.org) improvements to improve how AI platforms interpret websites.
• Implement the structured data and technical SEO foundation on our own website - schema markup, site structure and keyword mapping.
• Deploy our AI Readiness Badge as part of customer onboarding.

Build Our Product

• Develop and maintain our self-service AI Readiness Audit tool - the primary acquisition channel for new customers.
• Build internal tools and automation that improve audit quality, deployment speed, and operational efficiency.

Support partner success with strong technical foundations

• Collaborate with agency partners to deliver successful customer deployments.
• Provide technical expertise during customer demonstrations and implementation discussions.
• Develop repeatable deployment methodologies that can scale globally.

Improve Platform Visibility

• Implement technical SEO and structured data best practices across our own platform.
• Continuously optimise website performance, discoverability, and AI search readiness.

What Success Looks Like

Within your first operational phase in 2026, you'll have:

• Helped launch our self-service AI audit platform.
• Established scalable audit and deployment processes.
• Empowered founding agency partners with Done-For-You deployments across their client portfolios.
• Become the go-to technical resource for prospect and pitch demonstrations - running live audits, explaining fix logic, and handling technical questions.
• Successfully deployed AI Readiness solutions for our first 100+ customers.
• Built the technical SEO and structured data foundation supporting our growth.

Who are we looking for?

• Shopify Plus / Magento expertise - hands-on experience building on or configuring at least one major online retail platform; Shopify Plus experience is preferred
• Schema.org / JSON-LD proficiency - deep understanding of product, organisation, breadcrumb, and review schema; able to write and validate JSON-LD from scratch
• Google Merchant Centre familiarity - working knowledge of product feed requirements, disapproval reasons, and structured data validation
• High-throughput work style - comfortable maintaining quality at volume across a high daily audit cadence

Bonus Skills:

• Understanding of how AI crawlers interpret and prioritise structured data signals
• Experience with other online retail platforms beyond Shopify
• Familiarity with Answer Engine Optimisation (AEO) concepts
• Experience building schema fix templates or batch deployment automation
