Job summary

Trust Recruit in Malaysia is seeking a Senior Technical Delivery Engineer (Systems & Storage) to lead design, implementation and lifecycle management of server, virtualization, storage, backup and cloud compute platforms. You will own compute/storage domain, set standards, drive DR planning, and guide projects from design to go-live while ensuring transferable operational knowledge.

Qualifications

5–8+ years in enterprise systems, virtualization & storage engineering.
Experience delivering full lifecycle projects and DR testing.
Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or equivalent hands-on experience.
Relevant certifications (VMware VCP-DCV, Windows Server, Azure) preferred.
Enterprise storage experience (NetApp, Dell EMC, Huawei) preferred.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and manage compute, virtualization, storage, backup and cloud platforms.
Lead projects from design through go-live with documented standards.
Act as senior technical authority for compute and data platform design decisions.
Own DR program co-ownership with disaster recovery planning and testing.
Provide escalation support and produce LLD/HLD, SOPs and build guides.
