Job summary

Pride Global is seeking an experienced Storage Engineer to join our client's infrastructure team in Malaysia. You will design, deploy, and administer enterprise storage solutions and optimize performance across Dell PowerMax, PowerScale, and Pure Storage FlashArray environments.

This onsite role requires strong SAN, VMware, and Cisco MDS skills, with a focus on migrations, replication, firmware upgrades, and documentation of SOPs and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and configure enterprise storage solutions.
• Manage and support Dell PowerMax (PMAX), Dell PowerScale, and Pure Storage FlashArray environments.
• Perform storage provisioning, migration, replication, and performance tuning.
• Troubleshoot storage issues across VMware, Solaris, AIX, and AS400 platforms.
• Plan and execute storage firmware upgrades with minimal downtime.
• Configure and troubleshoot Cisco MDS SAN switches, including zoning, port channels, and firmware upgrades.
• Develop SOPs, technical documentation, and operational procedures.
• Support change management, incident management, and risk assessments.
• Work closely with network teams to validate firewall rules, VLANs, DWDM, and routing requirements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in enterprise storage administration.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Dell PowerMax (PMAX), Dell PowerScale, and Pure Storage FlashArray.
• Experience with storage migrations, replication, and SAN technologies.
• Knowledge of Cisco MDS switch administration and Fibre Channel networking.
• Familiarity with VMware, Solaris, AIX, and AS400 environments.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills.
