Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an experienced SMT Machine Programmer SME to develop, validate, and optimize SMT programs for NPI and mass production. You will lead the programmer team, ensure data integrity, and drive line performance improvements.

The role requires hands-on SMT programming, strong problem-solving skills, and collaboration with ME technicians and engineers. A bachelor's degree in a related engineering field and 3+ years' experience are expected.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related technical field.
Minimum of 3 years hands-on SMT programming experience and process optimization.
Proficiency with SMT programming software (Valor, Aegis, CAM350) and SMT equipment.

Responsibilities

Generate, validate, update, optimize, and back up SMT machine programs for production and NPI.
Prepare and maintain SMT setup sheets, including equipment configuration and route steps.
Perform NPI First Article Inspection (FAI) and component verification.
Provide process optimization via measurement and enhancement of machine performance.
Drive OEE improvements related to programming and line optimization.
Train ME Technicians and Engineers on SMT programming and process control.
