Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an experienced technician to maintain and develop machine programs and PD files, while ensuring equipment readiness for optimal line performance in a high-volume SMT environment.

The role involves diagnosing issues, performing preventative maintenance, and supporting line operators to improve efficiency and product quality. A Diploma or equivalent engineering training is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma / Certificate in an Engineering Field or minimum of two years related experience and/or training.
• Equivalent combinations of education, training, and hands-on experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and develop machine programs, PD files and machine set-ups.
• Optimize machine programs and set-ups to meet or exceed theoretical product run-rate.
• Observe machine and line performance to achieve optimum line efficiency and product quality.
• Monitor CIQ, TARS, ICT Diagnostic defect analysis sheet and feeder data for tracking performance.
• Maintain and repair SMT equipment on assigned line(s).
• Provide training to Manufacturing Engineering Tech I employees.
• Assist with machine operation to improve line efficiency and cover breaks.
