Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an experienced technician to maintain and develop SMT programs, PD files and machine set‑ups on assigned lines. You will optimize processes to meet run‑rates while monitoring defect data and line performance to ensure high quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities include diagnosing SMT and non‑SMT Equipment, performing preventive maintenance, training operators, and supporting efficient changeovers.

Qualifications

• Diploma / Certificate in an Engineering field or two years related experience or training.
• Equivalent combinations of education and hands‑on experience may be considered.
• Maintain and repair SMT equipment on assigned line(s).
• Perform initial diagnosis of non‑SMT equipment and escalate complex issues as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and develop machine programs, PD files and machine set‑ups.
• Optimize programs and set‑ups to meet or exceed run-rate.
• Observe performance to achieve maximum line efficiency and product quality.
• Monitor diagnostic sheets and data sources for performance trends.
• Provide ongoing training and direction to operators.
• Assist with changeovers to improve line efficiency.
• Coordinate with Supervisors and Engineers for corrective actions.
• Provide daily pass‑down reports to engineers and technicians.
• Adhere to safety and security policies.
