Job summary

MGB Berhad is seeking a skilled Surveyor to join our on-site surveying team in Malaysia's Selangor region. You will perform topographical, boundary and layout surveys on construction sites, and interpret drawings to guide construction activities.

You will use total station, GPS and levels, establish control points, and collaborate with site engineers and contractors to ensure precise site positioning and levels. Strong communication and teamwork are essential in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Surveying or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of surveying experience.
• High-rise residential experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct topographical, boundary, and layout surveys on construction sites.
• Use surveying instruments (total station, GPS, levels) to measure land features and elevations.
• Interpret and work from architectural and engineering drawings.
• Establish site control points and benchmarks for construction reference.
• Collaborate with site engineers and contractors to ensure correct site positioning and levels.
• Monitor and verify accuracy of construction work against design drawings and survey data.
• Prepare and maintain detailed survey records, reports, and site sketches.
• Resolve discrepancies between plans and actual site conditions.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures.
• Assist in as-built surveys upon project completion.
