Job summary

Team Keris Berhad in Ipoh is seeking a Civil Engineer with on-site experience to lead project implementation, supervise site works, and ensure timely completion. The ideal candidate will be able to read design drawings, manage resources, coordinate with consultants and contractors, and work under deadlines.

Willingness to travel and work irregular hours is required. A Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering is required, with at least 5 years on-site experience in construction.

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 5 years on-site construction experience.
• Able to read and decipher design drawings and plans.
• Willingness to travel and work outside normal hours when required.
• Ability to work in a team and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Take lead on project implementation and oversee site progress to ensure timely completion.
• Prepare and submit progress reports and monitor site inspections.
• Coordinate with consultants, suppliers and contractors to ensure activities follow plans.
• Control materials, resources, costs and project budgets on-site.
• Ensure quality meets specifications and resolve site issues promptly.
