Job summary

GSR Construction Sdn Bhd in Johor Bahru invites applications for a Site Supervisor/Site Engineer to lead daily operations on our construction sites. The role focuses on delivering projects on time, within budget, and to high safety and quality standards.

Qualified candidates will have a Civil Engineering or related degree, proven project management and leadership experience, and strong drawing-reading skills. CIDB/Safety certifications are a plus; travel to sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience in project management and team leadership.
• Strong communication skills with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all activities on the construction site according to plans and timelines.
• Oversee quality control to meet standards and contractual specs.
• Manage site resources, materials, equipment and tools.
• Liaise with clients, architects and engineers for progress updates.
• Prepare and maintain site documentation, daily reports and safety logs.
• Identify and resolve on-site issues with sound judgment.
