GE Vernova, Inc. is seeking an experienced Maintenance Operations Manager to oversee mechanical maintenance across plant sites. You will lead a team, coordinate inspections, and work with Owner personnel to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations.

Responsibilities include managing subcontractors, guiding maintenance procedures, and analyzing incidents to drive continuous improvement in a regulated environment. Excellent communication and leadership skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Advanced experience in Power Plant Services and Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Station Management.
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college (or equivalent knowledge/experience).
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant industry experience.

Responsabilités

Job Description Summary Job Description Role Overview: You will be responsible for managing all resources and logistics required to deliver comprehensive services and maintenance activities on customer sites. This includes overseeing all types of mechanical maintenance (both preventive and remedial), managing maintenance facilities, and directing field services engineering. Operating with moderate autonomy while guided by established policies and standards, you will oversee departmental planning and execution. The role allows for the modification of procedures and working practices, provided that all end results consistently meet strict quality, volume, and timeliness standards.

Roles and Responsibilities Responsible for managing a teams that covers all aspects of Mechanical Maintenance on the plant to ensure safe, reliable and efficient plant operations. Direct Report to Maintenance Manager During planned or unplanned inspections arrange and organize local subcontractors to perform tasks under GEV Supervisors direction. Work closely with GEV field service and inspection personnel to ensure coordination and cooperation between all parties. Provide direct technical guidance and support to the Owner's Personnel on relevant maintenance matters. Assist the Owner in improvement of relevant operations and maintenance procedures. Analyze incident reports and suggest necessary actions. Analyze operational data relating to any contractual guarantees and obligations and if necessary, recommend correctives actions. Advise and assist the Owner in planning and executing relevant maintenance and planning of planned and unplanned inspection activities. Preparation of monthly reports Identify initial spare parts, control GEV O&M buffer stock and maintain the required stock availability, ensuring the timely availability of identified spare parts, consumable and tools for planned maintenance. Assist in determining relevant training for the Owner's Personnel and its subsequent implementation. Train and guide any GEV Personnel, and periodically assess their ability and potential. Comply with the Owner's as well GEV's and legislative EHS requirements relevant to assigned duties and responsibilities.

Required Qualifications Advanced experience in Power Plant Services and Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Station Management Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college (or equivalent knowledge/experience) Minimum of 5 years of relevant industry experience For local regulatory or operational compliance reasons, this position is open exclusively to Malaysian nationals of Sarawakian origin / Sarawak residents
