Job summary

TikTok is seeking a strategic leader to head the local Search Operations team in Kuala Lumpur. You will coach and grow the team, ensure delivery within TikTok's policies, and drive high standards of quality.

You will oversee policy localization, QA, RCA, data analysis, and reporting, while collaborating with product and research to refine search strategies and improve user experience. This role requires strong people management, English proficiency, and a proven track record in leading large

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education/experience.
3+ years’ experience working on quality management in a major tech or media company.
Recent and minimum 4 years experience as Team Lead/Content Manager/ Technical Lead
Strong people management skills with large, diverse teams.
General knowledge about Search Engineering/Search engines and related strategies.
Proficiency in English as working language for the role

Responsibilities

Lead, manage, recruit and develop the local search operation team to high standards.
Ensure services align with TikTok values and policies.
Localize policy, process, and strategies; manage QA, RCA, data analysis and reporting.
Evaluate outcomes, optimize workflows and SOPs to hit productivity and quality targets.
Collaborate with product, research and development teams to optimize search strategies.
Provide training to BPO sites and land new projects.
Promote inclusion and support participation across communities.
