Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Project Engineer to provide technical leadership for MEP and process systems in pharmaceutical and high-precision environments in Ipoh. You will oversee design, installation, commissioning and integration of electrical, ELV, HVAC and process systems ensuring quality and safety.

In this role you will review P&IDs and CAD/BIM drawings, coordinate across trades, lead technical teams, manage subcontractors, and drive efficiency while maintaining GMP and regulatory

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or related Engineering discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience in MEP, process, and electrical project engineering.
• Strong experience with P&ID interpretation, CAD/BIM design, and system integration.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert technical leadership for MEP and process systems across design, installation, commissioning and integration.
• Review P&IDs, specifications and CAD/BIM drawings to ensure design intent.
• Oversee lifecycle from shop drawings to final commissioning and ensure constructibility and cost efficiency.
• Coordinate with vendors, QA/QC, validation and operations as main technical bridge.
• Lead project efficiency improvements, standard libraries and digital tracking.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal teams on goals and requirements.
• Supervise subcontractor technical progress and manage material deliveries to milestones.
• Ensure safety, GMP and regulatory compliance.
