Job summary

Side, a global video game development and services provider, seeks a Lead Producer in Malaysia to drive production across disciplines, align teams, and manage milestones. You will connect art, engineering, and design while maintaining clear communication with global stakeholders.

The role starts with an internal project and will expand to co-development services for external partners. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in production, 2+ years in a lead role, and strong agile/scrum experience with

Qualifications

• 5+ years of production experience, with at least 2 years in a lead or senior producer capacity.
• Proven experience managing multi-disciplinary teams in game development.
• Deep understanding of agile/scrum pipelines, milestone planning, and live service operations.
• Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
• Passion for games and collaborative leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead the production process for client cross-engine project from concept through delivery.
• Build and maintain project schedules, sprint plans, and key milestones in collaboration with cross-functional leads.
• Identify and resolve production risks and dependencies across departments.
• Serve as the primary point of contact between internal teams and global partners.
• Champion agile best practices, empowering the team to iterate quickly and effectively.
• Mentor and support associate producers and coordinators.
• Contribute to developing processes and best practices that will later support external co-development projects.
