Job summary

Mölnlycke is seeking a Senior Process Scientist – Latex & Chemical Systems to drive innovation across glove manufacturing. You will strengthen process understanding, lead investigations, and implement control strategies to improve product quality and yield.

The role emphasizes PFMEA, DOE, SPC, MSA, and digitalisation, collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize manufacturing performance and ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Must have degree in a relevant engineering discipline and strong pursuit of quality.
• Experience with high-volume, regulated medical manufacturing is a plus.
• Proven ability to translate process requirements into digital monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Lead investigations into latex, chemicals, raw materials, and formulation stability to improve quality.
• Develop process control strategies, parameter limits, and escalation plans.
• Apply SPC, DOE, MSA and PFMEA to identify risks and reduce defects.
• Support PFMEA, control plans, validation and digitalisation initiatives.
• Drive improvements in yield, scrap reduction, and process stability.
• Provide technical recommendations and train teams on data-driven decisions.
• Identify external collaboration opportunities while protecting IP.
