Job summary

Airswift is seeking a Lead Operations Engineer (Structure) for offshore development projects in Malaysia. You will provide structural engineering leadership across engineering, fabrication, installation and startup to ensure safe, efficient delivery.

You will validate deliverables, ensure compliance with API/ISO/DNV/Eurocodes, and drive operability and maintainability. A strong interface with operators, EPCs, fabrication yards, and offshore teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural or Offshore Engineering.
• 8–13 years in offshore oil & gas projects.
• Experience with fixed platforms, jackets, topsides, FPSOs or subsea structures.
• Experience across FEED, detailed engineering, EPC, commissioning and operations.
• Familiar with API, ISO, DNV, Eurocodes and related standards.
• Operations readiness or asset integrity experience is desirable.
• Ability to coordinate with operators, EPCs, fabrication yards and offshore teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide structural engineering leadership across the project lifecycle.
• Review deliverables from EPC contractors and consultants.
• Ensure designs meet specifications, codes, and regulatory requirements.
• Contribute input on design reviews, HAZID, constructability, maintainability, operability.
• Support lifecycle asset management and integrity strategies.
• Participate in design reviews, assurance workshops, and decision-making.
• Incorporate lessons learned from existing facilities.
