Job summary

Airswift is seeking an Intermediate Structural Engineer in Kuala Lumpur to support offshore oil and gas projects. The role focuses on structural detailed engineering and basic design for offshore facilities, ensuring deliverables meet project requirements and applicable codes.

Responsibilities include producing calculations, drawings, material take-offs, and design reports; reviewing drawings and vendor documents; coordinating with Piping, Mechanical, Civil, Process, and E&I teams; and

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or related discipline.
5–8 years of structural engineering experience in oil and gas.
Experience with offshore platforms, topsides, FPSO, or related projects.
Exposure to FEED, site verification, and bidding activities.
Ability to prepare structural deliverables including calculations, drawings, and reports.

Responsibilities

Perform structural detailed engineering and basic design for offshore facilities.
Produce calculations, drawings, material take-offs, and design reports.
Review drawings, calculations, and vendor documents for compliance.
Coordinate with Piping, Mechanical, Civil, Process, and E&I teams during design.
Support construction, fabrication, and site verification activities.
