Job summary

Sandisk is seeking a Senior Test Engineer in Penang, Malaysia, to own test development for KGD wafer‑level flash memory products and drive improvements in yield, quality and test cost. You will lead root-cause investigations, collaborate with design, process, test and reliability teams, and develop test flows for high‑volume manufacturing.

The role emphasizes data‑driven problem solving, DOE, and the ability to influence cross‑functional teams to deliver reliable products to market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of hands-on semiconductor test, product engineering, or yield engineering experience.
• Proven track record leading root-cause investigations and delivering measurable improvements.
• Strong knowledge of CMOS and Flash memories; ability to troubleshoot with data-driven methods.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical ownership of KGD wafer-level flash memory test development and yield improvements.
• Lead root-cause investigations and drive containment and permanent corrective actions.
• Interface with design, process, test and reliability teams to resolve issues.
• Define test conditions and flows for high-volume production testing.
