Job summary

Randstad Malaysia is seeking a manufacturing lead to join our Kuala Lumpur production team. You will start by working with the production manager on initial setup and to train new operators, then take ownership of the production process to drive quality and efficiency across shifts.

Qualifications

• Certificate or Diploma in related field.

Responsibilities

• Setting up, calibrating, and operating machines used in production processes.
• Following established procedures for operating various conventional and CNC manufacturing equipment.
• Selecting and measuring raw materials and parts to specifications to prepare for production processing.
• Resolving issues related to the organisation production, machinery, processing, and/or packaging operations.
• Inspecting machining operations and finished products against specified tolerances using precision measuring tools.
• Determining and correcting minor machine malfunctions and performing simple routine maintenance and cleaning.
• Ensuring safety and housekeeping (5S) requirements are met.
• Support and develop technical program to monitor certifications and inspection of equipment and materials.
• Support environmental, health and safety initiatives.
• Able to assist in specialty areas such maintenance, training, EHS, administrative, shipping and receiving, and/or lean manufacturing.
