Job summary

Woh Hup Group is seeking a qualified Mechanical & Electrical Engineer to oversee M&E works on large Data Centre projects. You will coordinate with consultants and subcontractors, ensure on-site installation, testing, and commissioning meet project specs, quality standards, and timelines.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and 3–5 years of M&E experience, preferably with main contractors.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
3–5 years of relevant M&E experience, preferably with main contractors.
Experience in Data Centre or mission-critical projects is advantageous.
Strong knowledge of M&E systems, codes, and standards.
Willing to be site-based in Selangor.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate all M&E works on site including HV/LV, UPS, generators.
Review drawings, specifications, shop drawings, and method statements for compliance.
Liaise with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and project teams to resolve issues.
Monitor progress, quality, and safety to meet project requirements.
Attend site meetings and provide progress/technical reports.
Coordinate testing, commissioning, and handover of M&E systems.
Ensure compliance with authorities and industry standards.
Assist in value engineering, material submissions, and procurement support.
