Job summary

Woh Hup Group is seeking a qualified Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Engineer to support large-scale data centre projects. You will oversee M&E works on site, coordinate with consultants and subcontractors, and ensure all systems are installed, tested, and commissioned per specifications, quality standards, and timelines.

The role requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, 3–5 years of M&E experience (preferably with main contractors), and willingness to be site-based in

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 3–5 years of M&E experience, preferably with main contractors.
• Experience in data centre, mission-critical, industrial, or high-tech projects is advantageous.
• Willing to be site-based in Selangor.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all M&E works on site, including HV/LV systems, UPS, generators, chillers, CRAH/CRAC, BMS, fire protection, and ELV systems.
• Review M&E drawings, specifications, shop drawings, and method statements for compliance.
• Liaise with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and internal project teams to resolve technical issues.
• Monitor progress, quality, and safety of M&E works to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Attend site meetings and provide regular progress and technical reports.
• Coordinate testing, commissioning, and handover of M&E systems.
• Ensure all works comply with statutory requirements, local authority approvals, and industry standards.
• Assist in value engineering, material submissions, and procurement support when required.
