Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in mechanical/electrical/mechatronics engineering.
• Strong technical aptitude with a hands-on approach.
• Ability to work independently after training.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willing to work overtime and shifts as required.
• Safety-minded with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for building and align laser and its optical system.
• Take responsibility, ownership and accountability to meet production output.
• Performs testing and troubleshooting of complex systems, subassemblies and PCBA.
• Test, operate, repair and maintenance of laser products that use or incorporate lasers.
• Install and align optical parts, such as mirrors, lenses, etc.
• Familiar to use oscilloscopes, function generator, optical microscope, power meter, spectrum analyzer, etc.
• Knowledge of analog and digital circuitry.
• Assemble, install and align mechanical, optomechanical, electromechanical components.
• Set-up electronic and optical instruments to test laser device.
• Review assembly layout, drawings, and sketches, analyzing test data, and preparing technical reports for engineers.

Education

Higher NITEC or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering
