Qualifications

• Higher NITEC or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Strong technical aptitude with a hands-on approach to work.
• Able to work independently after completing required training.
• Communicates effectively with all levels, including Production Management.
• Proactive, adaptable, and eager to take on additional responsibilities and learn new skills.
• Demonstrates a strong quality and safety mindset with meticulous attention to detail.
• Competent in using basic testing and troubleshooting tools (e.g. digital multimeter, oscilloscope).
• Willing to work overtime on weekdays and weekends when required.

Responsibilities

• Build and align laser and its optical system.
• Take ownership to meet production output.
• Test and troubleshoot complex systems, subassemblies and PCBA.
• Test, operate, repair and maintain laser products.
• Install and align optical parts (mirrors, lenses).
• Familiar with oscilloscopes, function generators, optical microscope, power meter, spectrum analyzer.
• Knowledge of analog and digital circuitry.
• Assemble, install and align mechanical, optomechanical, and electromechanical components.
• Set up electronic and optical instruments to test laser devices.
• Review assembly layouts, drawings, analyze test data, and prepare technical reports for engineers.
