Job summary

JLL Malaysia seeks a Hard Services Lead to manage all technical building systems and oversee a mobile technician team on-site in Kuala Lumpur. The role combines hands-on engineering with people leadership to sustain HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and related systems in line with Malaysian codes and standards.

The ideal candidate should have 5–7 years in facility maintenance with supervisory experience and relevant certifications in HVAC or building services, ensuring safety and regulatory

Qualifications

• Five to seven years in building maintenance or facilities with at least two years in supervisory roles.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian building systems standards, electrical codes, and regulations.
• Professional certifications in HVAC, electrical systems, or building services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead hard services management including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety, and building automation systems.
• Supervise the mobile technician; assign daily work orders and provide performance coaching.
• Develop preventive maintenance schedules and coordinate major projects and replacements.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, local regulations, and safety protocols.
• Maintain documentation and reporting on system performance and maintenance costs.
