The role supervises a mobile technician, coordinates maintenance tasks, ensures regulatory compliance, and optimizes energy performance while overseeing vendor relationships and safety programs.

Qualifications

• Experience leading technical maintenance teams in commercial facilities.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian building systems standards and electrical codes.
• Proven ability to plan preventive maintenance and manage maintenance budgets.
• Experience with building management systems and CMMS.
• Good communication skills for technical reporting and stakeholder coordination.

Responsibilities

• Lead management of hard services including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety, and building automation systems.
• Develop preventive maintenance schedules and coordinate planned maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Oversee troubleshooting, emergency repairs, and major equipment replacements with warranty compliance.
• Supervise mobile technicians, assign work orders, and conduct performance reviews.
• Monitor BMS and coordinate with automation platforms to optimize energy efficiency.
• Manage vendor relationships and coordinate contractor work, including quotations and procurement.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and local regulations; implement safety protocols and PPE usage.
• Coordinate emergency response and maintain backup systems for business continuity.
• Plan budgets for maintenance contracts and equipment replacement; report on costs and performance.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and reporting; coordinate with capital expenditure planning.
