Job summary

MSD Malaysia seeks a Manager, Accounting to Reporting (AtR) to ensure accurate accounting for markets in the JCAP region. You will partner with Local Finance Teams to align with US GAAP, comply with local statutes, and maintain strong internal controls.

You will lead GL close, supervise accounting processes, and drive continuous improvement across finance and business functions, collaborating with global teams and external auditors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance.
• 8+ years of experience in a multinational finance/accounting dept.
• 4+ years in a supervisory role.
• Fluent English; Mandarin Chinese proficiency required.
• Experience with local statutory/tax and US GAAP reporting.

Responsibilities

• Supervise general ledger activities and period-end close for JCAP region.
• Manage GL and AtR sub-process activities and SOX compliance.
• Implement policies and controls for accurate service delivery.
• Coordinate with internal/external auditors for statutory audits.
• Lead process improvements and RPA initiatives across finance teams.
