Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM qualification or equivalent.
• Experience in repairing forklifts, heavy machinery, automotive or industrial equipment.
• Good knowledge of diesel/electric forklifts and hydraulic/electrical systems is an advantage.
• Experience in managing a service team or technical department.

Responsibilities

• Manage the entire forklift service and maintenance department.
• Plan, assign and supervise the technicians' daily work.
• Monitor repair progress and ensure all work is completed on time.
• Handle complex technical issues and guide technicians in troubleshooting.
• Monitor repair quality and minimise repeated faults and rework.
• Handle customer complaints and urgent repair arrangements.
• Coordinate spare parts, tools and inventory requirements.
• Train, guide and evaluate service technicians.
• Establish and enforce departmental procedures, discipline and KPIs.
• Provide regular updates to management on departmental progress and issues.
