Job summary

DNL GROUP SDN. BHD. in Malaysia is seeking a highly organized Event Executive to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of corporate and private events. You will manage clients, vendors, and internal teams to deliver world-class events.

The role emphasizes strong project management, budgeting, and vendor negotiation, with the ability to work under pressure, travel as required, and lead on-site operations and post-event analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 3-5 years' experience in event management, project management, or a related role.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with keen attention to detail.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, timelines, and deliverables effectively.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written & verbal).
• Strong vendor and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage crises, and adapt quickly to changes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with event/project management software is an added advantage.
• Willingness to work irregular hours, weekends, and travel as required for events.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end event/project management, from conceptualization to execution and post-event evaluation.
• Work closely with clients to understand objectives, requirements, and expectations.
• Develop event proposals, budgets, and timelines; ensure cost control and quality assurance.
• Coordinate with internal teams (creative, logistics, operations, technical, digital) to ensure smooth delivery.
• Source, negotiate, and manage vendors, suppliers, and venues.
• Handle all approvals, permits, and compliance requirements.
• Manage on-site event operations, ensuring smooth flow of program and troubleshooting in real-time.
• Prepare and present event reports, including financial reconciliations and feedback analysis.
• Maintain excellent client relationships and foster repeat business.
