Job summary

CBRE Asia Pacific in Malaysia seeks a skilled Facilities Engineer to operate, inspect, and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment in assigned properties. You will minimize downtime through proactive testing, routine maintenance, and timely repairs while ensuring safety standards.

The ideal candidate has M&E & FM knowledge, BO Chargeman 33KV preferred, and seven years' experience as a licensed electrician. A formal apprenticeship and DDC/EMS experience are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Background in M&E and Facilities Management.
• BO Chargeman certification 33KV preferred.
• Seven years' experience as a licensed electrician.

Responsibilities

• Operate, inspect and maintain M&E equipment in facilities.
• Carry out planned inspections and supervise contractors.
• Provide 24-hour emergency support and first response in emergencies.
• Ensure safety rules and guidelines are followed.
• Plan preventive maintenance and corrective work.
• Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure quality and scope.
