Job summary

Ambu in Penang, Malaysia is seeking a Team Lead – Data & Analytics to lead a team of data professionals and serve as the Service Delivery Manager for Data Warehouse and Data Platform services.

You will drive the stability, evolution, and business value of our global data solutions, partner with business stakeholders, translate requirements into scalable technical solutions, and foster a high‑performing, collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in IT/CS/Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience leading technical teams within a Data & Analytics environment.
• Strong understanding of Data Warehousing, Data Integration, and BI concepts.
• Experience working with Microsoft technologies and cloud-based data platforms, preferably Azure.

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Data & Analytics professionals.
• Drive employee engagement, performance management, and career development.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and succession planning activities.
• Foster a collaborative, innovative, and high-performing team culture.
• Own the delivery and operational management of Data Warehouse services.
• Ensure platform stability, availability, and continuous improvement.
• Manage incidents, service requests, SLAs, and operational processes.
• Coordinate with internal and external support partners when required.
• Build strong relationships with business stakeholders and translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Communicate technical concepts and solution options in a clear, business-friendly manner.
• Support prioritization of initiatives and management of business demand.
• Provide guidance across Data Warehouse, Analytics, Integration, and Data Platform initiatives.
• Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture, security, and governance standards.
• Support the adoption of modern cloud-based technologies and best practices.
• Lead and contribute to the successful delivery of strategic Data & Analytics initiatives.
• Manage risks, dependencies, timelines, and stakeholder expectations.
