Job summary

ERS Energy Sdn Bhd in Kuching, Sarawak is seeking a Construction Manager to lead site deployment for our Large-Scale Solar projects. You will oversee planning, execution, and field teams to deliver on schedule and safety standards.

The role requires a Civil/Mechanical/Electrical engineering degree, 8+ years in utility-scale solar or infrastructure, and at least 3 years of supervisory experience. English and Malay fluency is essential; Mandarin is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years experience in utility-scale solar or infrastructure project delivery.
• 3+ years in supervisory or construction management role.
• Fluent in English and Malay; Mandarin is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead site mobilization and planning activities, including layout reviews and construction phasing.
• Supervise field project engineers, foremen, and site supervisors across disciplines.
• Coordinate with client site representatives, consultants, and authorities; manage subcontractor scope and schedules.
• Ensure QA/QC processes and HSSE protocols are followed on site; address NCRs and client audits.
• Track progress against master schedule and report deviations; support integrated reporting.
• Oversee commissioning readiness and handover activities; manage handover documentation.
