Job summary

DÜRR DENTAL South East-Asia SDN BHD is expanding its software development presence in Malaysia to deliver AI‑driven, cloud‑based dental software solutions. The role focuses on building scalable cloud infrastructure and backend services for ML inference workloads.

You will collaborate with data science and product teams, lead architectural reviews, and mentor engineers to drive standardized, reusable platform patterns across teams.

Qualifications

• Strong Python skills and backend focus.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD and containerized workloads.
• Expertise with AWS, GCP, or Azure cloud platforms.
• Excellent communication skills and demonstrated technical leadership.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a STEM field or equivalent experience.
• Nice to have: distributed systems, ML model serving frameworks, observability, security practices, or cost optimization.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate cloud infrastructure and backend services for ML inference workloads at scale.
• Design and operate platform components and automation for production ML workloads.
• Collaborate with data science and product teams to deliver production‑grade AI services.
• Enhance observability, performance, and reliability via monitoring and incident response.
• Lead architecture reviews, establish engineering standards, mentor engineers, and drive reusable platform patterns across teams.
