Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an experienced Workshop Supervisor to oversee daily workshop operations, lead a team of technicians, and ensure service quality while maintaining compliance with company standards and safety regulations. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in automotive workshop operations with 1–2 years in a supervisory role, strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance, and proven leadership abilities.

Qualifications

Diploma or Certificate in Automotive Engineering, Automotive Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in automotive workshop operations, with 1-2 years in a supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance, repair processes, workshop operations and quality control.
Proven ability to lead, coach and develop technical teams.
Good understanding of workplace safety, 5S implementation and SOP compliance.
Strong problem-solving, decision-making and communication skills.
Computer literacy and ability to maintain operational records.
Possess a valid driving license (Class D).

Responsibilities

Supervise daily workshop operations to ensure productivity, efficiency, and quality standards.
Lead, coach, and develop workshop staff to improve performance and technical competencies.
Ensure compliance with SOPs, safety regulations, and operational standards.
Monitor equipment maintenance, workshop cleanliness, and 5S practices.
Identify and resolve operational and technical issues in a timely manner.
Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation of workshop activities.
