Job summary

AIA Digital+ in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a skilled IT professional to support the end-to-end delivery of applications. This role focuses on system design, implementation, unit testing, and incident troubleshooting.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in IT or related fields, at least 5 years of Java/J2EE experience, and knowledge of API and cloud technologies. Strong leadership skills and effective communication with customers are essential.

Qualifications

• Java/J2EE development with at least 5+ years' experience in an IT development environment.
• Familiar with API development like SOAP, RESTful, XML, JSON, Swagger.

Job description

This position is about to support the related application E2E delivery, including system design, programming, unit testing, system & integration testing & UAT support and PROD deployment support and incident troubleshooting.

• Independently provide daily support (SIT/UAT/PROD) including project, and incident troubleshooting
• Communicate with customers to understand business requirement
• Independently provide system implementation and support following SDLC including coding, testing, SIT/UAT/PROD support and troubleshooting
• Provide required documentations per SDLC
• Ensure customer perception and visibility through proactive communication · Provide daily report
• Lead several members to provide the deliveries to customer following SDLC and project plan, manangement, monitoring
• Maintain good relationship with customer by good service delivery
• Report to team leader about project matters and team (weekly/monthly)
• Balance effort between team members
• Complete other related assignments and projects

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree holder (preferably in Computer Science/IT or Business fields) with minimum CGPA 3.2 ·
• Java/J2EE development with at least 5+ years' experience in an IT development environment, willing to learn webMethods.
• Familiar with API development, such as SOAP, RESTful, XML, JSON, Swagger and etc with on-hand experience with microservice API development on cloud (Azure,AWS,etc)·
• Good working knowledge of database, like table, view, store procedure, index.
• Familiar with middleware (MQ, Kafka, API Gateway…etc) and on-hand experience with API gateway or MQ or Kafka or cache.·
• Having experience to lead the team as a technical leader or project management role directly facing customers, with successful track record of leading teams in end-to-end project delivery is plus.
• Good knowledge of SDLC (Software Devlopment Life Cycle) and E2E project delivery experience.
• Having basic cloud knowledge with on-hand experience with Azure integration.
• Good self-motivation with a proactive attitude towards continuous learning and improvement to adapt to technological advancements and business challenges.
• Familiar with AI development and have on-hand AI development experience.
• Excellent listening, communication, interpersonal skills and teamwork spirit.
