Job summary

Cochlear Malaysia is seeking a Lead Specialist Customer Software V&V Engineer to design, develop, and deliver advanced test automation and verification solutions for our customer software products. This role blends software engineering, test automation, quality engineering, and AI-enabled development to improve product quality, speed, and engineering efficiency in regulated environments.

You will lead automation initiatives using Python, TypeScript/Node.js, Playwright, Appium, pytest, and CI/CD

Qualifications

8–12 years in software engineering, software testing, quality engineering, V&V, or test automation.
At least 5 years designing and leading automation initiatives.
Strong programming in Python and TypeScript/Node.js.
Hands-on with Playwright, Appium, pytest, and API testing tools.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks, testing tools, and internal utilities across platforms.
Establish and execute test strategies ensuring verification, validation, traceability, and regulatory compliance.
Develop auditable test assets, verification evidence, and reports for automated and manual testing.
Design and implement AI-enabled engineering solutions to improve productivity.
