Cochlear Malaysia is seeking a Customer Software Verification and Validation Engineer to ensure high-quality delivery of complex projects. You will define, design/develop tests, execute them, and report results within Cochlear's QMS framework.

You will work with V&V leads, developers, product owners, and QA peers to uphold regulatory and quality compliance across the product suite. A background in Agile environments is essential and automation experience is a plus.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline.
2-5 years of experience in Software Verification & Validation (V&V), Software Testing, Quality Assurance, or related software development roles.
Experience creating and executing test cases, documenting defects, and supporting software delivery within Agile environments.
Exposure to test automation, scripting, or automation frameworks is advantageous but not mandatory.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills with attention to detail.

Responsabilités

Understand functional and technical specifications within the Customer Software Products ecosystem and wider Cochlear products.
Create test cases from planning meetings and approved specs.
Plan testing across required test hardware and software combinations.
Execute test cases during sprints with high quality and thorough documentation.
Develop automated test scripts and components where applicable.
