Job summary

BTG Engineering Sdn Bhd in Puchong invites applications for a CNC laser programming role focused on tube and flat lasers. You will use ArTube, Lantek, and TubesT to program, nest parts, and optimise material use while reading engineering drawings.

You will collaborate with engineering and production to meet deadlines and maintain documentation, with Solidworks basics and a strong eye for detail essential.

Qualifications

• Experience programming CNC laser machines (tube or flat laser preferred).
• AutoCAD experience (essential).
• Ability to read engineering drawings.
• Strong understanding of fabrication and steel processing.
• 3D CAD or modelling experience.
• Basic proficiency in Solidworks, with the ability to create and edit single-part models.
• Experience within metal fabrication or manufacturing.
• Good computer skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Program tube/flat laser cutting jobs using CAD/CAM software (ArTube, Lantek, TubesT).
• Prepare nests and optimise material utilisation.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Create and maintain accurate production job files.
• Troubleshoot programming issues and identify process improvements.
• Work closely with Engineering and Production to meet delivery deadlines.
• Maintain programming standards and documentation.
• Troubleshooting and resolving DXF/STEP file import and programming issues for laser cutting.

Program tube/Flat laser cutting jobs using CAD/CAM software (ArTube, Lantek, TubesT).

Prepare nests and optimise material utilisation.

Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.

Requirements:
