Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Production Operator to set up machines (calibration, cleaning) and start a production cycle. You will control and adjust machine settings such as speed and feed raw material to semi-automated lines.

You will inspect parts with precision tools, test operation, fix issues during shifts, and keep records of output. The role requires ISO safety practices and updating MES logs.

Qualifications

• Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical/Mechatronic/Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent years of related experience.
• Preferably 2-5 years experience in related field.
• Able to operate machine (related), read technical drawing and CAD CAM knowhow as well.

• Set up machines (calibration, cleaning etc.) to start a production cycle.
• Control and adjust machine settings (e.g. speed).
• Feed raw material or parts to semi-automated machines.
• Inspect parts with precision and measuring tools.
• Test operation of machines periodically.
• Fix issues that might occur during the shift.
• Check output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws.
• Keep records of approved and defective units or final products.
• Maintain activity logs, updating the daily output in the MES system on time and accuracy.
• Taking care of machines, tools and measuring equipment.
• Other duties and assignments as instructed by superiors from time to time.
• To comply with all requirements of ISO (inclusive of all standards approved by the Management) and to adhere to general safety practices, standard operating procedure, work instructions, policies and guidelines provided by the company.
