Unique Remedy Compounding Pharmacy in Puchong is seeking a full-time Laboratory Technician to assist in preparing customized medications under pharmacist supervision. This role is ideal for those who enjoy practical lab work and have a strong focus on accuracy and quality.

As a Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for mixing ingredients, following safety protocols, and supporting inventory management.

About the role

Join Unique Remedy as a Laboratory Technician and develop specialised, hands-on skills in pharmaceutical compounding.

Working under pharmacist supervision, you will help prepare customised medications and supplements based on doctors’ prescriptions, supporting each patient’s specific needs. This role suits someone who enjoys practical laboratory work, follows procedures carefully and takes pride in accuracy.

What you’ll be doing

• Accurately weigh, measure and mix ingredients according to approved formulas and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Follow laboratory health, safety and quality control protocols throughout the compounding process.
• Operate, clean and maintain laboratory equipment, including balances, magnetic stirrers, capsule filling machines and ointment mills.
• Perform in-process quality checks and assist with final quality checks according to SOPs.
• Maintain accurate records of compounding activities, materials used and required checks.
• Keep workstations clean and organised, following procedures to prevent cross-contamination.
• Assist with inventory management, stock checks and ordering necessary supplies.
• Promptly report discrepancies, equipment issues or quality concerns to the supervising pharmacist or designated person in charge.
• Collaborate with pharmacists and laboratory colleagues to support safe, consistent and efficient preparation.

What we’re looking for

• A diploma or degree in biotechnology, biochemistry, pharmaceutical sciences, chemistry, biomedical science or a related science or laboratory field.
• Fresh graduates are welcome. Previous laboratory experience, particularly in pharmaceutical compounding or healthcare, is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality and accuracy.
