Job summary

BD Malaysia is seeking a detail-oriented Chemist/Production Technician to join our Kedah facility in Kulim. You will ensure compounding procedures conform to B.O.Ps and manage daily stock checks of process chemicals to support uninterrupted production.

With a Diploma in Chemistry or related field (or SPM with relevant experience), you will assist the Compounding Supervisor, perform base lattice churn operations, recover waste alcohol via the recovery plant, and maintain housekeeping in the area.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Chemistry/Polymer Science or related discipline.
• SPM with minimum 3 years relevant working experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compounding procedures conform to BOPs.
• Responsible for daily process chemicals stock check and ensure the smooth supply of process chemicals to production.
• Assist Compounding Supervisor in carrying out daily work activities.
• Responsible for all churn compounding of base lattices.
• Responsible for recovering all waste alcohol penetrated from dip room by processing them through alcohol recovery plant.
• Ensure good housekeeping in compounding areas and scrap yard.
