Job summary

Jora Malaysia in Selangor is seeking a diligent laboratory technician to perform ion-chromatography, liquid and air particle counting, and electrostatic discharge tests in accordance with established methods.

You will analyze measurement data to identify abnormalities and trends, maintain accurate testing records, and ensure equipment is kept in good working condition. The role requires a chemistry-related diploma or higher and readiness to support lab operations as needed.

Qualifications

• Diploma level or higher in chemistry-related field.
• Experience in related industry and tests is advantageous.
• Able to read, write and perform simple calculations.
• Knowledge of basic inspection and test procedures.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Ion-Chromatography tests according to established method and requirements.
• Carry out Liquid Particle Count and Air Particle Count tests according to established method and requirements.
• Carry out Electrostatic Discharge tests according to established method and requirements.
• Analyze measurement data to identify abnormalities and trends.
• Ensure testing records are properly maintained.
• Maintain equipment in good working condition and keep the workplace clean.
• Support lab operations when manpower is short.
• Other assigned duties as required.

To ensure Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) are in place.

To carry out Ion-Chromatography Test according to established method and requirements.

To carry out Liquid Particle Count Test and Air Particle Count Test according to established method and requirements

To carry out Electrostatic Discharge Test according to established method and requirements.

To analyze measurement data for identifying abnormalities and trends.

To ensure the testing records are properly maintained.

To take care and maintain the equipment in good and functional condition

To maintain the cleanliness of the work place

Support lab operation whenever there is shortage of manpower.

Other assigned duties as required.

JOB REQUIREMENT:

A. Qualification and Experience

• Prefer Diploma Level and above (background Chemistry related)
• Experience working in related industry / environment (advantages if know to test for Liquid Particle Count or Ion-Chromatography test)

B. Other Personal Capabilities

• Able to read, write and perform simple calculation.
• Knowledge in basic inspection and test procedure.
