Job summary

Ideal Quality Sdn Bhd is hiring a Laboratory Technician in Malaysia to support GLP-compliant lab operations. The role involves performing Ion-Chromatography tests, Liquid and Air Particle Count tests, and Electrostatic Discharge tests while ensuring data integrity and proper record maintenance.

You will analyze measurement data for abnormalities, maintain equipment, keep the workspace clean, and assist with lab coverage during manpower shortages.

Qualifications

• Diploma level or higher in chemistry related field preferred.
• Experience in related industry/environment is advantageous.
• Knowledge of Liquid Particle Count or Ion-Chromatography testing is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Ensure GLP practices are in place and maintained.
• Carry out Ion-Chromatography tests per established methods.
• Perform Liquid and Air Particle Count tests according to requirements.
• Execute Electrostatic Discharge tests per established methods.
• Analyze measurement data to identify abnormalities and trends.
• Maintain testing records and ensure data integrity.
• Maintain and care for laboratory equipment in good working order.
• Keep the work area clean and orderly.
• Support lab operations during manpower shortages.
• Carry out other assigned duties as required.

Job description

To ensure Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) are in place.

To carry out Ion-Chromatography Test according to established method and requirements.

To carry out Liquid Particle Count Test and Air Particle Count Test according to established method and requirements

To carry out Electrostatic Discharge Test according to established method and requirements.

To analyze measurement data for identifying abnormalities and trends.

To ensure the testing records are properly maintained.

To take care and maintain the equipment in good and functional condition

To maintain the cleanliness of the work place

Support lab operation whenever there is shortage of manpower.

Other assigned duties as required.

JOB REQUIREMENT:

A. Qualification and Experience

• Prefer Diploma Level and above (background Chemistry related)


• Experience working in related industry / environment (advantages if know to test for Liquid Particle Count or Ion-Chromatography test)

B. Other Personal Capabilities

• Able to read, write and perform simple calculation.


• Knowledge in basic inspection and test procedure.
