Job summary

T7 Global Berhad is seeking a Lab Technician (Chemical Process & Surface Treatment) to support metal surface treatments and related chemical processes. The role requires understanding of wet chemistry, solution preparation, and equipment verification in a manufacturing setting.

Ideal applicants have 1–2 years in lab work or fresh graduates with solid lab knowledge, and familiarity with safety, SDS, and basic data recording. This position emphasizes precision and adherence to quality controls.

Job description

Lab Technician (Chemical Process & Surface Treatment)

Certificate/Diploma in Chemistry, Applied Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Chemistry or a related field.

Preferably 1–2 years of laboratory experience in metal surface treatment, electroplating, anodising, chemical processing, manufacturing or water treatment.

Fresh graduates with good laboratory knowledge may also be considered.

Able to perform wet chemical analysis, solution concentration testing, chemical preparation and equipment verification.

Familiar with laboratory equipment, chemical reagents, SDS and safe chemical-handling practices.

Able to maintain test records, trend-analysis graphs and laboratory inventory.

Knowledge of Nadcap, aerospace quality requirements or ISO/IEC 17025 would be an advantage.

Detail-oriented, safety-conscious and comfortable working around production chemical tanks.
