Job summary

Intel Corporation in Malaysia (Penang) is seeking a Lab Module Engineer to install and qualify hardware and software for new products, ensuring flawless pre-mature A0 stepping power-on and close collaboration with STTD and PDE.

You will interface between engineering teams to improve software, equipment features, and processes, perform qualification activities for handler GUI, PLC, and software stack integration, and lead root-cause analysis with FMEA/CAPA to mitigate risks.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in electronics/electrical/computer/mechatronics or related field.
Basic coding, database experience, and analysis knowledge in Excel, JMP, Power Platform, SQL, C++, Python, Power-BI etc.
Minimum 5-7 years working experience required.

Responsibilities

Install and qualify equipment hardware/software for new products.
Collaborate with STTD and PDE to improve software, equipment features and processes.
Support qualification activities for handler GUI, PLC, and software stack integration.
Lead root-cause analysis using FMEA, CAPA, and data analysis to mitigate risks.
Able to lead task forces and drive continuous improvements in tool/module performance.
