Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma in mechanical or related technical field required.
• 1 year of relevant experience preferred; fresh graduates may apply.
• 12-hour shift with rotating day/night; on-site presence in Penang.
• Ability to stand for long periods and support OT when needed.
• Hands-on troubleshooting and maintenance experience preferred.
• Familiarity with technical documentation and procedures.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to diagnose problems in non-functioning equipment.
• Dismantle, adjust, repair, and install/assemble equipment per manuals and drawings.
• Set up, calibrate, and perform preventative maintenance on production equipment.
• Monitor data to improve tool performance and address tool/module issues.
• Create and update specs; support module engineering with experiments and configurations.
• Coordinate with suppliers for service and repairs as needed.
• Ensure tools are installed or converted during factory ramps with engineering teams.
