Job summary

Intel Corporation in Malaysia (Penang) seeks a Platform Hardware Design Engineer to drive end-to-end development of platform hardware for lab debug activities. You will design, develop, and evaluate electronic components and PCBs, oversee board layout, and ensure cross-system compatibility while learning power-on and debug tasks with cutting-edge silicon.

The role is on-site in Penang, requires a strong foundation in hardware design and programming (Python/C++/HDL) with hands-on collaboration

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience in hardware design and development through internships, projects, or practical training.
• Proficiency in board layout design and schematic capture tools.
• Foundational knowledge of hardware platform fundamentals and component-level design principles.
• Foundational knowledge of programming languages such as Python, C++, and HDL.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and evaluate electronic components and PCBs for platform hardware solutions.
• Oversee board layout processes and ensure compatibility across hardware and software systems.
• Participate in lab debug activities, power-on and hands-on silicon work.
